We are a small, family\-run business behind some of the UK’s leading wedding venues, built on a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for couples. As we prepare to open an exciting new wedding venue in Summer 2027, we are looking for an exceptional Venue Manager to lead this journey from the very beginning. This is a unique opportunity to oversee the venue’s transition into operation, build and inspire a dedicated team, and help create the perfect setting for couples to celebrate one of the most important days of their lives.
We have beautiful venues, fantastic couples, a wonderful team and flexible hours. The Best Day Ever Venues group is looking for an Operations Manager to run a brand new wedding venue, opening in Summer 2027\.

What we’re looking for.
We are on the search for an experienced manager with the leadership skills to inspire and motivate a new team of wedding event specialists and housekeeping team whilst ensuring their venue is maintained at a spectacular level and introducing high brand standards in line with your sister venues.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working in sales or hospitality, in a position of responsibility.

Who we are.
Best Day Ever Venues are the West Midland's most successful group of independently owned wedding venues. We are completely focused on weddings and do not host any other type of event across our six (soon to be 7\), very busy, venues. This specialised approach allows us to focus on providing exceptional customer service for our happy couples.
The ideal candidate will have:
· People management with the ability to lead and inspire a hardworking team,
· Customer facing experience,
· A hands\-on approach to running the venue,
· Understanding of HR and Health \& Safety requirements,
· A full driving license with unlimited access to their own vehicle.

The position.
The role of Operations Manager is a senior role within our business and involves the overall day\-to\-day running and development of your venue. The following are a generic, non\-exhaustive guide of the position.
· Delivering exceptional levels of customer service throughout every aspect of the couples’ journey – from excited newly engaged couple, through to delivering their best day ever.
· Drive sales through venue viewings to meet booking goals,
· Work with our marketing team to develop marketing and promotional campaigns,
· Ensuring all company processes and procedures are adhered to,
· Recruit and train a team of committed, ambitious and professional staff,
· Lead by example with a hands\-on approach,
· Report directly to the group Heads of Department
