Web Developer – AWS & Multi-Business Environment
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Working arrangement: Fully office\-based / in person 3 days a week, 10:00am–5:00pm
We are looking for a highly capable and experienced Web Developer with strong AWS experience to join our team in Knightsbridge.
This is a hands\-on role supporting the technology and web infrastructure across multiple businesses and projects, so we are looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of projects and confidently manage both development and technical infrastructure.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving websites, web applications and online systems across a number of businesses. You will work closely with the business owner and management team to understand requirements, identify solutions and implement them efficiently.
The role will involve working across a varied portfolio, including businesses operating in areas such as automotive, insurance/claims, construction, travel, media and online services.
Key Responsibilities
\* Develop, maintain and improve multiple company websites and web applications
\* Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure and environments
\* Deploy, configure and troubleshoot applications and services on AWS
\* Manage domains, hosting, DNS, SSL certificates and related infrastructure
\* Build and maintain APIs and integrations
\* Troubleshoot technical issues and website/application problems
\* Improve website performance, security and reliability
\* Work with databases and backend systems
\* Integrate third\-party platforms and services
\* Develop new features and functionality as required
\* Maintain existing codebases while also building new systems from scratch
\* Identify technical problems and provide practical solutions
\* Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
\* Work independently and take full ownership of assigned technical projects
Essential Experience
\* Strong professional experience as a Web Developer / Full\-Stack Developer
\* Strong AWS experience is essential
\* Experience managing websites and web applications in a production environment
\* Strong knowledge of frontend and backend development
\* Experience with APIs and third\-party integrations
\* Good understanding of databases
\* Experience with Git/version control
\* Strong understanding of web security, hosting and deployment
\* Ability to troubleshoot problems independently
\* Comfortable working across multiple businesses and projects
\* Excellent attention to detail and problem\-solving skills
Desirable
\* Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront and Route 53
\* Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments
\* Experience with cloud infrastructure and server management
\* Experience working with payment systems and online platforms
\* Experience building business management systems or SaaS/web applications
\* Experience working with multiple websites and domains
\* Experience in a fast\-moving entrepreneurial environment

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive and commercially minded.
You should be comfortable being the person who is given a problem and expected to work out the solution rather than needing constant supervision. You will be working across several businesses, so the ability to prioritise, communicate clearly and manage multiple projects at once is extremely important.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00am–5:00pm, in person at our Knightsbridge office.
