About the role
------------------

Generate important and impactful experiences for people attending Imperial Enterprise’s Partnerships events, including the Imperial Collider series, sector\-focused roundtables and important networking opportunities throughout the year.

This important role will bring our teams together to deliver high quality, high value events for multiple stakeholders in order to enhance and develop new and ongoing relationships across our ecosystem.

The role will focus on supporting Imperial’s Partnerships team with events and engagement activities. It is a core part of Imperial’s Partnerships Engagement team, which is dedicated to enriching the relationships with our industry partners across Imperial.

What you would be doing
---------------------------

Within the role you will play a crucial part of our planning and operational delivery for high\-profile events such as the Imperial Collider series, as well as coordinating teams from across the university as we bring together academic and research partners, industry collaborators, funding organisations and policy makers.

From booking venues and catering through to determining running orders, organising suppliers and project managing entire teams’ deliverables, you’ll be vital to the succssful delivery of Imperial Enterprise’s Partnerships events each year.

What we are looking for
---------------------------

  • Customer\-focused attitude and approach to teamwork

  • Demonstrably well\-organised experience of delivering high\-profile events with multiple competing deadlines

  • Strong experience of managing suppliers, especially logistics, catering, venues and operations providers

  • Strong communication skills and an ability to manage upwards, downwards and sideways when working with people from multiple teams

  • Good attention to detail, including experience scrutinising contract terms and conditions

  • Deadline and delivery\-focus

  • High proficiency with a range of software (e.g. MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite; Eventbrite/event platforms; CRM systems – such as Salesforce)

+ Ability to cope effectively with short\-notice change under significant time constraints
