Warehouse / Stores / Logistics Operative - Days

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Stores Operative to join our Warehouse \& Logistics team in Hereford. Reporting to the Warehouse \& Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our stock accuracy, ensuring that stock items are booked in and shipped out accurately and stored efficiently and effectively.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience to join a growing local manufacturing company.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing goods\-in and goods\-out processes including booking items into our ERP system (WinMan).


• Carrying out accurate picking, issuing and returning of materials and components for production.


• Ensuring correct FIFO procedures, batch traceability and stock accuracy at all times.


• Operating counterbalance forklift, reach truck and order picker to move and store materials safely (training provided if required).


• Maintaining stock accuracy through routine cycle counts, stock checks and good housekeeping.


• Labelling and preparing Correx boxes and materials for production.


• Supporting the Material Logistics Controller to ensure materials are prepared for upcoming production runs.


• Maintaining a clean, safe and well\-organised Stores and CONS area.


• Raising shipments with delivery partners and completing despatch documentation.


• Following all company Health \& Safety policies, quality procedures and ISO13485 requirements.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in warehousing or stores work (manufacturing environment desirable).


• Able to operate (or willing to train on) counterbalance forklift and order picker.


• Computer literate, ideally with experience of ERP/MRP systems and online shipping booking (WinMan experience is a bonus).


• Accurate, organised and reliable with strong attention to detail.


• A good communicator who enjoys working as part of a small, supportive team.


• Physically able to lift/move items safely (manual handling training provided) up to 25kg.


• Flexible and proactive with a willingness to learn.
