Warehouse Packer

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented Warehouse Packer to join our busy logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Duties

• Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness


• Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols during picking, packing, and stock management.


• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory, process orders, and update stock levels


• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading lorries


• Perform quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards before dispatch


• Stock shelves and organise storage areas to optimise space utilisation


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment


• Support the team with mechanical tasks or basic repairs as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehousing, materials handling, or logistics is highly desirable


• Knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse management systems is advantageous


• Experience with shipping \& receiving processes, picking \& packing, and stock replenishment


• Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control purposes


• Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing and manual handling tasks


• A proactive attitude with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.21 per hour
