Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties

• Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.


• Operate a variaty of forklift trucks safely and effectively to transport goods across the facility.


• Manage stock levels through accurate picking, packing, stocking, and inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS).


• Prepare shipments by packing items securely and labelling them correctly for dispatch.


• Receive incoming deliveries by inspecting goods for quality and accuracy, recording receipt details in the system.


• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before storage or dispatch.


• Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks when necessary to ensure equipment remains in optimal condition.

Experience

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.


• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation, including forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.


• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.


• Experience with shipping \& receiving procedures, including documentation and compliance standards.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations.


• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks.

Pay: From £12\.74 per hour

Expected hours: 40\.0 per week
