Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating forklift equipment safely, and supporting warehouse operations. Your proactive approach will help ensure smooth shipping, and receiving, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Hours of operation
Mon\-Fri 15:00\-20:00 (overtime available)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by accurately handling incoming and outgoing goods
- Conduct report maintenance needs to ensure operational safety
- Manage materials handling tasks with mechanical knowledge to optimize storage space
- Perform lifting as required while adhering to safety protocols
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining a clean and efficient work environment
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating various forklift models
- Previous warehouse experience demonstrating familiarity with shipping \& receiving procedures
- Mechanical knowledge or basic understanding of equipment repair processes
- Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment with attention to safety standards
Expected hours: No less than 25\.0 per week
