Responsibilities

• Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.


• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records accurately.


• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing goods for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders.


• Pick and pack orders meticulously to ensure accuracy and quality before shipment.


• Stock shelves systematically, ensuring products are stored safely and accessibly for quick retrieval.


• Conduct regular quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items and report issues promptly.


• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment problems and perform routine maintenance on warehouse machinery.

Skills

• Proven experience in materials handling, warehouse operations, or similar roles.


• Valid forklift certification with demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.


• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software for seamless stock control.


• Strong understanding of shipping \& receiving procedures and documentation requirements.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.


• Mechanical aptitude to assist with equipment load/unload tasks or minor repairs.


• Excellent attention to detail for picking, packing, stocking, and quality control activities.
