Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and fulfilment operations. This is a hands\-on role responsible for managing stock, dispatch, logistics, warehouse compliance, and team performance, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

Working closely with colleagues across Purchasing, Finance, Sales and Operations, you will drive high standards of safety, service and operational efficiency whilst leading and developing a small warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day\-to\-day operation of the warehouse and fulfilment function.


• Oversee goods receipt, storage, stock control, stock rotation and dispatch activities.


• Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time.


• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational objectives.


• Plan workloads and resources to meet business demands.


• Monitor productivity, performance and service levels.


• Manage recruitment, training, appraisals, absence and performance matters.


• Coordinate with transport providers and suppliers to ensure an effective logistics operation.


• Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained, serviced and operated safely.


• Maintain high standards of Health \& Safety, housekeeping and compliance.


• Identify and implement continuous improvements to warehouse processes and efficiency.


• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve operational issues and support business objectives.

About You

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control and logistics.


• Proven people management and leadership skills.


• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment.


• Good IT and warehouse management system skills.


• A proactive, flexible and hands\-on approach.

Additional Information

• Full\-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:00\-17:00\.


• Regular manual handling is required; a good level of physical fitness is essential.


• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £30,000\.00 per year
