Logistics Support Operative (Full\-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Logistics Support Operative to join our team. This is a hands\-on role combining warehouse operations, delivery driving, and logistical support responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Chief Operating Officer to help ensure the smooth running of day\-to\-day operations across the business.

This role requires flexibility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handling and moving packages safely, including heavy items up to 16–25kg unassisted


• Operating forklifts (training can be provided if required)


• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation in line with health and safety standards


• Conducting weekly stock takes and inventory checks


• Picking and preparing orders using the company warehouse management software


• Supporting the manual tracking and management of company assets


• Monitoring product expiry dates and reporting any concerns


• Reporting stock shortages or operational issues to management


• Disposing of onsite waste using the appropriate PPE provided


• Ensuring all orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Carrying out scheduled deliveries and collections to company sites


• Driving long distance across the south of the uk.


• Operating 3\.5\-tonne vehicles using a standard UK driving licence


• Communicating delays, site activity updates, and delivery issues promptly


• Safely handing over deliveries and collecting smaller goods when required


• Working to a structured two\-week delivery schedule with variable working hours

The ideal candidate will have:

• A full, clean UK driving licence


• Advanced DBS Check


• Basic IT skills and confidence using software systems


• Good communication and organisational abilities


• A flexible and dependable approach to work


• The ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Physical fitness suitable for a demanding warehouse environment

• The business operates 24/7, therefore flexibility is essential


• The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to support operational efficiency


• A willingness to learn all aspects of the logistics operation and adapt to changing priorities is essential
