The Role

We’re looking for a passionate Support Worker to support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will work on shifts, collaborate with your team members, and ensure consistent therapeutic care. Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in shifts and provide high\-quality, consistent support.

  • Build safe, trusting relationships with young people using a trauma\-informed and therapeutic approach.

  • Support with care planning, behaviour management, and key\-working responsibilities.

  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and incidents are reported accurately and promptly.

  • Maintain detailed records, reports, and logs in line with Ofsted and company standards.

  • Communicate effectively with external professionals, families, and management.

  • Take part in regular training, supervisions, and team development activities.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or a willingness to work towards it).

  • Experience working as a support worker in a residential childcare setting (desirable).

  • A solid understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma\-informed care.

  • Confidence in leading shifts and supporting team members.

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, sleep\-ins, and waking nights.

  • Basic IT skills for using online reporting and care systems.

  • A full UK driving licence (preferred).

Experience:
  • Working in a children’s residential care setting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Right to work without requiring spοnsοrship or vіsa transfer (required)

  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

  • Level 3 in residential childcare (or working towards) (preferred)
Work authorisation:
  • United Kingdom (required)
Work Location: In person
