Children's Residential Support Worker

The Role
We’re looking for a passionate Support Worker to support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will work on shifts, collaborate with your team members, and ensure consistent therapeutic care. - Engage in shifts and provide high\-quality, consistent support.
- Build safe, trusting relationships with young people using a trauma\-informed and therapeutic approach.
- Support with care planning, behaviour management, and key\-working responsibilities.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and incidents are reported accurately and promptly.
- Maintain detailed records, reports, and logs in line with Ofsted and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with external professionals, families, and management.
- Take part in regular training, supervisions, and team development activities.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or a willingness to work towards it).
- Experience working as a support worker in a residential childcare setting (desirable).
- A solid understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma\-informed care.
- Confidence in leading shifts and supporting team members.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, sleep\-ins, and waking nights.
- Basic IT skills for using online reporting and care systems.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
