To oversee the day\-to\-day management of the warehouse operation, customer order fulfilment functions and associated processes/procedures.

Full time – Monday – Friday 8\.15am\-5\.15pm based in Hailsham. Onsite working only. 1 hour unpaid lunch break

£30,000 PA

4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Job Overview

We are seeking to recruit a new Warehouse Manager to oversee our busy Hailsham based warehouse. We are a long\-established automotive parts company, receiving and shipping goods worldwide. This job will suit a tidy, organised person.

· To put in place appropriate structure so that the operations team understand their daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities \& have an organised way of working to ensure completion of all tasks on time.

· To oversee the day\-to\-day running of the site to ensure it is operated safely, in line with HSE guidance.

· Making decisions on the best logistics method for each delivery

· Liaising with customers, suppliers and staff members to deal with queries

· Serving trade counter, booking goods, picking and packing orders

· Working to ensure goods are dispatched within the required timeframe.

Qualifications \& Experience

  • Proven experience in a warehouse and logistics management role.

  • Previous experience supervising warehouse teams and coordinating logistics operations.

  • Strong understanding of stock control and inventory management.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Strong problem\-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational improvement.

  • Good understanding of health \& safety procedures within a warehouse environment.

  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

  • Forklift licence preferred (training can be given)

  • 3PL experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £30,000\.00 per year
