For our UK site in Coventry, we are looking for an experienced leader to drive sales growth and service excellence as

Head of Sales

Your responsibilities:
--------------------------

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and operational sales plans

  • Prepare and present sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to management

  • Ensure effective and efficient use of the company CRM systems

  • Identify, develop, and report on new business opportunities in target markets

  • Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events

  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve company objectives

  • Build and maintain strong, trust\-based relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders

  • Ensure the delivery of class\-leading customer support across the UK \& Ireland

  • Support the conversion of legacy laser platforms to the latest IPG Photonics solutions

  • Collaborate closely with management teams in the UK and worldwide
Your profile:
-----------------
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Physics, or a related technical discipline

  • 5–7 years of experience in B2B component sales

  • Proven experience in managing and leading a sales team

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes across multiple industries

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Confident presenter capable of representing a large multinational organisation

  • Self\-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to work cross\-functionally

  • Flexible approach to working hours and travel requirements

  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally (e.g. Germany, USA)
