Ventilation Engineer
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical installation experience who wants to develop a long\-term career within the ventilation and indoor air quality sector.
You will work alongside experienced engineers carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of ventilation systems in residential and social housing properties. Full training will be provided within our specialist field of ventilation, condensation control, and mould prevention.
TJR Ventilation is an independent specialist condensation, mould and ventilation specialist. We are seeking motivated individuals who want to be part of team that aspires to be the best through it's high standards, compliance, safety and professional interactions.
This is a full time job working on the road throughout London and the south east, it is Monday to Friday job with occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities
As a Ventilation Engineer you will work independently and as part of our external team carrying out various duties associated with ventilation works in and around London and the South East, key areas include:
Installing domestic extract fans and whole\-house ventilation systems.
Assisting with servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning works.
Carrying out electrical connections and basic testing of ventilation equipment.
Learning to diagnose ventilation, airflow, humidity, condensation, and mould\-related issues.
Safely operating tools and equipment, including core drilling equipment.
Ensuring all work is completed to company standards and current regulations.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in occupied properties.
Completing job sheets and documentation accurately.
Delivering excellent customer service to residents and clients.
Communicating clearly with the TJR team and it's associated partners
Essential Requirements
Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Good practical skills and a willingness to learn and help other team members.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills
Electrician Improver experience.
Basic Inspection and Testing experience (Minor Works testing).
Experience installing domestic ventilation systems or extract fans.
Experience using core drilling equipment.
Experience working in social housing or occupied residential properties.
ECS Card or equivalent.
