Freelance Junior Graphic Designer – Brand & Visual Identity

Job Summary

Lore Lovis is a London\-based contemporary jewellery brand looking for a talented Freelance Junior Graphic Designer – Brand \& Visual Identity to support the development of our visual identity and creative assets.

This is a hands\-on role for someone with strong skills in graphic design, vector illustration and brand identity. You will work closely with the founder to develop and refine visual concepts, build a consistent graphic language, and translate creative direction into precise, well\-crafted brand assets.

A key part of the initial work will involve transforming supplied symbols and visual references into a refined and consistent vector system, alongside supporting the wider development and application of the Lore Lovis visual identity.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine precise vector artwork using Adobe Illustrator


• Support the development and refinement of brand identity elements, including typography, colour palettes, graphic systems and visual guidelines


• Develop moodboards and explore creative and art\-direction concepts


• Create high\-quality digital assets for social media, website, email campaigns and marketing materials


• Support website visual design, including layouts, banners and other branded assets


• Edit and enhance photography using Adobe Photoshop


• Edit and produce engaging video content for social media and digital campaigns


• Create motion graphics using After Effects where required


• Develop presentations and visual materials to communicate concepts and creative directions


• Explore multiple creative directions and refine selected concepts through feedback and iteration


• Maintain visual consistency across different brand touchpoints


• Collaborate closely with the founder and wider creative team to translate ideas into strong visual executions

• Strong understanding of brand identity principles and visual design systems


• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, particularly vector artwork and refinement


• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign


• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, composition and visual hierarchy


• Ability to create high\-quality content for social media, websites and digital campaigns


• Good understanding of Figma and digital/web design principles


• Video\-editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional software


• Experience with After Effects and motion graphics is desirable


• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across a visual system


• Ability to interpret creative direction while contributing original ideas


• Ability to communicate and present creative ideas clearly


• Portfolio demonstrating brand identity, graphic/vector design and digital content

Pay: £15\.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 10 hours per week
