About the Role

Arvicon International is looking for a proactive and sales\-driven professional to expand its UK paving and landscaping business. The role is primarily focused on business development, customer acquisition, and field sales, with additional coordination responsibilities related to logistics and operations.

This is a hands\-on role for someone confident in cold calling, arranging meetings, visiting customers independently, and developing long\-term B2B relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Sales \& Business Development (70%)

● Generate new business across builders’ merchants, distributors, landscapers, paving companies, and trade customers.

● Proactively cold call, arrange meetings, and conduct customer visits across the UK.

● Build and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new revenue opportunities.

● Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.

● Represent the company at trade meetings and networking events.

Operations \& Coordination (30%)

● Coordinate with India HQ, third\-party logistics providers, and external accounts/invoicing agencies.

● Maintain CRM updates, reporting, sales pipeline, and customer follow\-ups.

Working Structure \& Reporting

● Independent UK\-based role managed by India HQ.

● Candidates should be comfortable travelling regularly and working from the Weybridge office twice weekly.

● Required to submit:

○ 30/60/90\-Day Plan

○ Monthly Sales \& Travel Plan

○ Future Business Development Plan

○ Sales Achievement vs Target reports

Candidate Profile Essential

● B2B sales experience in paving, landscaping, natural stone, building materials, or

related sectors.

● Strong field\-sales and relationship\-building skills.

● Confident in lead generation, cold calling, and customer meetings.

● Self\-motivated, target\-driven, and commercially aggressive.

Preferred

● Existing UK industry network and buying group exposure (NMBS, NBG, Fortis, etc.).

● Experience in imports, direct container sales, or building materials distribution.
