Trust & School Business Manager - St Barnabas CE Primary School
The role

The Headteacher and Governors of St Barnabas CE Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint an Business Manager to join our team. There is an option to work full time by working at the Emmanuel Trust Central Team for 2 days per week in addition to 3 days at school.
Option 1: School \& Trust Business Manager: 3 days per week at school and 2 days per week at the Trust (37 hours per week).
Option 2: School Business Manager: 22 hours per week. NJC Grade 7
The School \& Trust Business Manager will be an experienced member of school administration teams within the Emmanuel Diocese of Liverpool Academies Trust. They will be a proactive administrator who supports project management and enables school development and improvement. They need to be able to work and contribute to the Christian vision, values and ethos for the School and Emmanuel Diocese of Liverpool Academies Trust (EDLAT).
Key Purposes
To support the Headteacher in being the lead administrator for the school in its business functions of:
- To play a central role in the leadership and strategic development of the school, through leadership of school support functions; providing direct assistance to the Headteacher, Governors and Senior Leadership Team.
- To support the raising of standards of pupil achievement through the provision and line management of efficient and effective business and support services.
- To provide strategic vision and leadership in all aspects of finance, HR, premises and health and safety.
- To ensure adherence to and implementation of all legal and safety requirements with regard to people, property and resources.
- The CEO in being the trust lead administrator for Data Management \& Media (Performance Data \& Digital Infrastructure, Comms)
