Trainee Machine Operator - Erdington
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Trainee Machine Operator to work at our client's site in Erdington.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a busy production environment.
Previous experience operating machinery is not essential. Our client is looking for individuals with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly.
This role would suit applicants who have worked in Production, Manufacturing or Warehouse Operative positions.
Rates of Pay:
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- Weekly rotating shifts: • Week 1: 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
- Fixed shifts may also be considered, subject to business requirements

Your duties as a Trainee Machine Operator are:
- Sorting products
- Loading machines
- Learning and understanding the production process
- Supporting experienced machine operators
- Operating machinery following training
- Assisting with machine set-up and operation
- Ensuring goods are processed correctly and efficiently
- Overseeing and supporting team members once fully trained
To be successful as a Trainee Machine Operator, you will need:

- A stable work history is preferred due to the extensive training programme
- Full training provided
- Training programme can take up to 12 months to complete
