Trainee CAD Designer

We are looking for a motivated Trainee CAD Designer to join our growing business. No previous CAD experience is required as full training will be provided.

This is a varied role with the opportunity to gain experience across multiple areas of the business while developing technical and design skills.

The role will involve:

• Producing CAD drawings


• Assisting with design work


• Measuring and preparing plans


• General admin and project support


• Supporting day\-to\-day business operations where required

Ideal candidate:

• Good computer skills


• Organised and reliable

• Keen to learn new skills


• Interest in design, property or construction


• Positive attitude and willingness to get involved

Team Culture – Everyone Gets Stuck In

We’re a small, close\-knit team and we help each other when things get busy.

Your primary role will be CAD and design support, however there are times where everyone works together across different areas of the business to keep things moving.

This may include:

• Packing and preparing customer orders


• Picking stock


• Assisting with unloading deliveries and containers


• Supporting the wider team during busy periods

No two days are exactly the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and enjoys being part of a team.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential)

We’d also welcome someone with an interest insocial media, content creation or marketing.

We’re looking to improve our online presence, so experience creating posts, taking photos/videos, bringing ideas to social media, or helping showcase projects and products would be a bonus.
