Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly dental practice. Responsibilities

• Assisting the dental team during patient treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety


• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with infection control protocols


• Welcoming patients, checking them in, and managing appointment schedules at the reception desk


• Handling patient enquiries both face\-to\-face and via telephone or email


• Maintaining accurate patient records using IT systems


• Supporting administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence


• Ensuring the practice environment remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times

Experience

• No prior experience required; full training will be provided to develop necessary skills


• A genuine interest in patient care and healthcare professions


• Good command of English, both spoken and written


• Basic IT literacy skills for managing electronic records and communication tools


• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members


• Organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain accurate records
