Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Accountancy practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent client service, and maintaining efficient practice workflows. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a dynamic environment, promoting the highest standards of client satisfaction. The Practice Manager will play a vital role in supporting the growth and success of our practice through effective management and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Book Keepers and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and expense control
- Implement and monitor human resources policies, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and staff development programmes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and practice protocols
- Manage client relationships to maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, inventory management, and procurement of supplies
- Assist with marketing initiatives to promote the practice within the local community
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and professional standards
- Proven supervising experience within a Accountancy practice
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Sound financial management capabilities, including budgeting and expense tracking
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to staff recruitment, development, and performance management
- Accounting Practice CRM experience is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication with clinical teams and understanding of practice operations
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach towards clients and team members
Pay: £25,206\.37\-£55,282\.25 per year
