Self- Employed Part Time Dental Associate - Mixed Dental Practice

We are seeking a Self\-Employed Part\-Time Dental Associate to join our mixed dental practice. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments, including visual inspections and patient history reviews


• Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges with precision and care


• Utilise CAD (Computer\-Aided Design) software for designing dental restorations where applicable


• Interpret medical imaging, including X\-rays and scans, to diagnose dental conditions accurately


• Apply anatomical knowledge to ensure safe and effective treatment planning and execution


• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post\-treatment care


• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards


• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and practice efficiency

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Dental Surgeon registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) or equivalent regulatory body


• Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques


• Competence in using CAD software for restorative procedures is desirable but not essential; training can be provided


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients


• Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism


• Ability to work independently as a self\-employed practitioner within a team environment


• Knowledge of current dental practices, infection control protocols, and health \& safety regulations
