Test Engineer
Introduction to ESS
Established in 2004 and based in Parkgate, Rotherham, Electrical Switchgear Services Ltd is a growing UK manufacturer of LV switchgear.
We manage everything in\-house, from design and engineering through to fabrication and powder coating. We also have our own delivery vehicles and site teams to deliver and install our switchgear.
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our growing production team, testing a range of products including switchboards, panelboards, ATS units and distribution boards.
The Role
You will carry out testing to job\-specific test schedules, identify and report any faults, and complete the relevant test records to ensure equipment meets the required standards before dispatch.
The Candidate
Previous experience in testing electrical equipment is essential. You should be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, work accurately and follow testing procedures.
We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team, takes a professional approach and is flexible to meet workload requirements.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday, 6am–5pm.
Friday is optional overtime when required.
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £16\.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40\.0 per week
