Technical Sales Manager – Investment Casting Tooling
About the Role
Blade Tooling is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Technical Sales Manager to join our growing team within the Investment Casting Industry. Reporting directly to the Site Director, the successful candidate will take responsibility for driving new business sales for investment casting tooling solutions, while acting as a key technical and commercial interface between the company and its customers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional with investment casting or tooling experience who is looking to progress into a customer\-facing commercial role.

Key Responsibilities
Manage sales of new and modified tooling projects within the investment casting sector
Respond to customer RFQs and develop complete technical and commercial solutions
Raise quotations and lead direct commercial negotiations with customers
Conduct monthly sales performance analysis and report to the Site Director
Maintain and develop relationships with existing global customers
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the investment casting industry
Improve integration of the quotation process within the company’s business management software, Progress Plus
Work closely with internal departments to support project delivery and customer requirements
Maintain sales budget records and sales forecasts in line with annual company targets
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering
OR
Demonstrated experience in tooling design and manufacture within the investment casting industry or similar sectors
Experience of tooling for ceramic core and wax pattern production processes
Customer\-facing experience within sales, account management, or programme management roles
Strong understanding of cost modelling and commercial costing
CAD skills
Familiarity with common CAD platforms and file manipulation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to produce professional written communications
Eligible to work in the UK
