Technical Account Manager
About the role
Jupiter IT are a leading IT solutions and managed service provider, helping organisations make better use of technology while keeping their businesses secure, productive and resilient.
We work closely with our customers to understand their technology challenges and provide practical, commercially sensible solutions across managed IT services, cyber security, cloud, Microsoft technologies, infrastructure and business transformation.
As Jupiter IT continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to help us expand our managed services portfolio and identify new opportunities with both existing customers and prospective clients.
This is a customer\-facing role combining technical understanding, commercial awareness and a genuine ability to understand what a business needs from its technology.
What will you be doing?
- Become a subject matter expert across Jupiter IT's Managed Services, infrastructure, cloud, Microsoft and cyber security solutions.
- Identify, qualify and develop opportunities across existing customers and new prospects.
- Work closely with our existing client base, fostering relationships and ensuring service levels are being met via regular account reviews.
- Work alongside the BD team to develop proposals and maximise cross\-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Act as a key point of contact for Managed Services enquiries and opportunities throughout the sales process.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into practical, commercially viable technology solutions.
- Develop and present proposals, tenders, presentations, solution designs and supporting sales documentation.
- Clearly communicate the business benefits, value and outcomes of proposed solutions to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with our technical and service delivery teams to develop accurate and compelling customer solutions.
- Build strong relationships with technology vendors and partners to support customer requirements and business growth.
- Follow up opportunities, quotes and proposals and actively help move prospects through the sales process.
- Maintain accurate opportunity information, forecasting and reporting within the CRM.
- Support the wider sales team through product knowledge, training and enablement.
- Keep up to date with developments across Microsoft, cloud, cyber security, managed services and the wider IT market.
- Contribute to the development of service documentation, sales collateral and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support campaigns, events and other activities designed to increase awareness and adoption of Jupiter IT's Managed Services.
- Take an active role in achieving team objectives and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
