Team Leader – Camberley Supported Living (Full\-Time)
Location: Camberley
Pay: £13\.75 per hour

Located in Camberley, our supported living service is a welcoming home where adults with mental health needs, autism, and learning disabilities are supported to live fulfilling, independent lives. As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in guiding a dedicated team of support workers while empowering residents to thrive through compassion, structure, and community engagement.
Your Role \& Purpose
As Team Leader, you will lead by example, promoting a positive, person\-centred culture where both staff and residents feel supported and valued. You will:
- Supervise, mentor, and inspire your team, supporting ongoing development
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and independence of service users, including during crisis situations
- Oversee day\-to\-day operations, rota planning, and smooth handovers
- Encourage residents’ participation in activities, community outings, and skill\-building
- Maintain high standards of care planning, record\-keeping, and compliance with CQC and company policies
- Lead and manage a team of support workers to deliver consistent, high\-quality, person\-centred care
- Allocate duties, create rotas, and support predominantly day shifts with occasional evenings, weekends, sleep\-ins, and waking nights
- Provide guidance, supervision, and foster a collaborative team culture
- Support service users with personal care, medication, and daily routines while promoting dignity and independence
- Encourage creative engagement, hobbies, and community involvement
- Liaise with families, external professionals, and clinical teams
- Respond calmly to emergencies, update risk assessments, and promote safe, positive behaviour
- Previous experience in care, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, or challenging behaviour
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
- A valid UK driving licence
- Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and mentor staff
- A calm, empathetic approach to challenging situations
- Strong organisational, communication, and record\-keeping skills
- Flexibility to work mainly day shifts, with some evenings, weekends, sleep\-ins, or waking nights
