Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction activities across data centre projects. This role ensures that all construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Core Duties \& Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise construction activities across data centre sites within UK.
· Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

· Monitor project budgets and schedules, providing regular updates to senior management.

· Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.

· Resolve construction\-related issues and escalate when necessary.

· Support procurement and logistics planning for construction materials and equipment.

· Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all construction activities.

· Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties

· Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company, and group policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· Professional certification (e.g., PMP, RICS, CIOB) is an advantage.

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, preferably in data centre or critical infrastructure projects.

· Managing subcontractors, permits, risk mitigation, resource allocation and site logistics.

· Experience of developing and implementing detailed construction plans for electrical systems, including high\-voltage distribution, ICT infrastructure, fibre optics and cabling.

· Experience in overseeing day\-to\-day electrical installation, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards and electrical codes/regulations.

· Deep understanding of high\-voltage electrical systems, ICT architecture, fibre optic networks and electrical compliance standards.

· Expertise in commission and testing of electrical systems.

· Strong leadership and project management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
