Teaching Assistant with Personal Care

Are you an experienced Care Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Residential Support Worker, or SEN Teaching Assistant looking to take your skills into a rewarding school environment?

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to support pupils with complex needs within a specialist SEN school. This role involves providing both educational support and personal care, helping children and young people access learning and thrive throughout the school day.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in a care, support work, healthcare, residential care, or SEN setting


• Confidence providing personal care and assisting with daily living needs


• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach


• Ability to build positive relationships with children and young people with complex needs


• Ability to work at least one full day per week (8:30am-3:30pm)

Flexible working options:

• Full-time opportunities available (Monday to Friday)


• Part-time roles available (2-3 days per week)


• Flexible and ad-hoc work available to fit around your commitments

The role:

• Supporting pupils with complex learning and physical needs


• Assisting with personal care where required


• Supporting communication, emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning


• Working alongside teachers, therapists and other professionals


• Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
