We are seeking to grow our exceptional team of staff.
Red Marsh School is a vibrant and outstanding special school, dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of all pupils. We support students aged 2 to 19, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. This is a permanent position with variable hours, currently set at 32\.5 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 INSET days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students learning, behaviour, and personal/social development.
- Taking on additional responsibilities across the school.
- Leading the class in the teachers absence with confidence and competence.
- Be passionate about teaching and learning.
- Have high expectations for both learning and behaviour.
- Use effective strategies to support the development of pupils with SEND.
- Be confident in assessing pupils and setting appropriate learning targets.
- Embrace and promote the schools values, vision, and purpose.
- Be proficient in the use of ICT.
- Thrive as part of a collaborative and forward\-thinking team.
