Support Worker

If you are looking to use your skills to help others or to develop your skills within the Adult Learning Disability Care Sector; then we would like to hear from you.

At Ferndale, home to 3 individuals, we have a dedicated team of staff who actively support residents to live the lives they choose. This role involves encouraging and supporting people with daily tasks and activities at home and in the community.

You will be creating an enriched social, homely and therapeutic environment.

Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge would be an advantage, but not necessary as full guidance, support and a comprehensive induction programme will be provided. You will also have the opportunity to obtain professional qualifications after six months of employment.

We ask that all applicants must:

Be willing to have an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, which will include a check against the Barred adult list and references.

Pay: £13\.28\-£13\.95 per hour
