We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker/Care Assistant to join our team. The role involves providing high\-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management


• Support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity


• Follow personalised care plans to meet each individual's specific needs


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition


• Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent, quality care


• Assist with light domestic tasks, including cleaning and meal preparation as required


• Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary (if qualified)

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided


• Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving driving clients or equipment


• Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English


• Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes


• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team


• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary
