Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. we are currently operating from Glasgow and want to find a Registered manager for our new service within North Lanarkshire and Falkirk area.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in senior care, dementia care, assisted living, and working with individuals with disabilities. This leadership role requires excellent team management and supervisory skills to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient and resident care. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, managing staff, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff members.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise healthcare teams specialising in senior care, dementia care, hospice care, and home care services.

  • Oversee the implementation of care plans, including medication administration and case management.

  • Ensure all staff adhere to healthcare standards, policies, and legal requirements.

  • Coordinate staff schedules, conduct performance appraisals, and facilitate ongoing training programmes.

  • Monitor patient and resident progress, ensuring high\-quality care tailored to individual needs.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and procurement processes efficiently.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.

  • Lead quality assurance initiatives to improve service delivery continuously.

  • Ensure compliance with health \& safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation related to patient care.
Skills
  • Proven experience in management within assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice settings.

  • Strong background in working with children, including toddler care or working with individuals with disabilities.

  • Extensive knowledge of senior care practices such as dementia care (including Alzheimer’s), laboratory procedures, medical imaging, and anatomy.

  • Experience in case management, medication administration, and patient care across various healthcare environments including ICU experience.

  • Excellent team management skills with supervisory experience in healthcare settings.

  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

  • Compassionate approach combined with excellent communication skills suitable for working with vulnerable populations such as elderly patients or individuals with disabilities.
