Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide support and assistance to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in caring for others, with experience in senior care or care homes being highly advantageous. This role involves delivering personalised care plans, promoting independence, and ensuring the wellbeing of clients. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Support clients in adhering to personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing


• Administer medication as prescribed, following strict protocols


• Supervise and oversee activities for clients requiring additional assistance or supervision


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition


• Assist with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation


• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and progress


• Drive clients to appointments or social outings when necessary, ensuring safety at all times

• Proven experience working in a care at home environment or senior care setting


• Supervising experience with the ability to oversee multiple clients or activities simultaneously


• Strong leadership qualities to guide and support other team members when required


• Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams


• Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs


• Competence in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes


• Valid driving licence with reliable driving skills for transporting clients safely


• Compassionate nature with a respectful approach towards elderly or vulnerable individuals
