We’re looking for compassionate, proactive, and resilient individuals to join our dedicated team as Sessional Recovery Support Workers. In this rewarding role, you’ll support people experiencing mental ill health to rebuild confidence, develop essential life skills, and work towards their personal goals.
The geographical postcodes this position will cover within East Renfrewshire are G46, G76 and G77 (Thornliebank, Newton Mearns, Eaglesham, and Busby/Clarkston). Driving licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred but not essential.
About the Role – What you’ll do
As a Sessional Recovery Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person\-centred emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and recovery\-focused approaches
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and partner services
- Encourage individuals to reconnect with their interests, strengths, and potential
- Help create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment
