Support/Care Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals in care homes or through home care services. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to delivering high\-quality care, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well\-being.


• Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.


• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.


• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.


• Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

• Full UK Driving Licence and a car.


• Previous experience in a care home or domiciliary care setting is preferred.


• Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.


• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal


• A valid driving licence and a car is essential.


• Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using relevant software.


• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
