Ward T3 have an exciting opportunity for a staff nurse to join the Vascular surgical team. Ward T3 has opportunities for staff nurses to develop skills and knowledge in caring for acutely ill patients pre and post operatively.

What you’ll do:

Assess patient care needs and design, implement, and evaluate tailored care plans

Act as a named care provider for a specific group of patients while supporting the wider team

Assist in managing and organising daily work, ensuring clear and effective communication

Provide guidance and support to junior staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment

Play a key role in supervising and assessing learners and unregistered staff, acting as a mentor and named supervisor

Use your clinical skills to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care programmes for individual patients and the wider ward

Assist in managing and organising daily work, ensuring clear communication and supporting junior staff (with extra support for newly qualified nurses)

Take a leading role in education, mentorship, and supervision of learners and unregistered staff

Deliver evidence\-based nursing interventions, applying advanced knowledge and skills to meet patient needs

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and make referrals where appropriate

Provide compassionate care for patients and their families, respecting privacy and dignity

Monitor and adjust care plans to ensure the highest standards of care

Utilise highly developed clinical skills specific to your speciality

Practice within professional, ethical, and legal frameworks for nursing
