About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Locala’s Children’s Immunisation Team, the lead provider for the West Yorkshire Vacs \& Imms Collaboration (WYVIC).
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Band 5 Children’s Immunisation Nurse to support the delivery of high\-quality childhood immunisation services across Kirklees. This role is ideal for a confident and motivated practitioner who is passionate about improving immunisation uptake and contributing to service development, while consistently maintaining excellent clinical standards.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Work closely with the immunisation team to increase localuptake by providing and supporting services to the eligible population
- Deliver safe, effective childhood immunisations in line with the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (0–18 years) within clinic and school settings
- Work collaboratively with the wider WYVIC Team
- Promote immunisation uptake and provide evidence\-based advice to children, young people, and families
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with policy and governance requirements
- Contribute positively to service development and continuous improvement
- Be able to travel to a range of vaccination sites across Kirklees, essential for this role

Qualifications:
Experience \& Background
- Registered Nurse
- Ideally IMMS\-trained, with experience in childhood immunisations
- Knowledge of the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule
- Commitment to supporting WYVIC service delivery
- Strong team player
- Hard\-working, flexible, and committed
- Enthusiastic and passionate about immunisation services
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals
