Would you like to be part of this exciting developing service?
Come and join our expanding cardiology service. On our cardiology day ward, we currently perform coronary angioplasty, simple ablation, complex devices along with pacemakers. The role will include care before the procedures, recovering patients post procedure and working within the catheter lab itself! Ideally you will have had experience within an acute cardiology setting and be enthusiastic to learn and to develop new clinical skills. If you have a passion for cardiology and are keen to develop in this field, we need you!
Training will be provided to support your Cath Lab/Cardiology career with specific competencies to support your professional development, you will be fully trained by our colleagues in St George's Hospital prior to working independently in our cath lab at Epsom

Scrubbing and circulating within the catheter lab

Working as a reliable member of the team adhering to strict WHO and LoccSip guidance maintaining high standards working for the safety of colleagues and patients.

  • Registered adult nurse

Desirable criteria


  • Diploma in nursing, degree or working towards further cardiology qualifications

Experience

  • Knowledge of current clinical and professional nursing issues relating to cardiology

  • Understanding of clinical audit and the principles of clinical governance

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
