Spa Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Spa Manager to oversee the daily operations of a cruise ship spa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing spa services, leading the spa team, maintaining high guest service standards, and ensuring the department operates efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the cruise ship spa.


• Lead, supervise, and motivate spa therapists and staff.


• Ensure exceptional guest service and a high level of customer satisfaction.


• Monitor spa bookings, treatments, sales, and daily performance.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.


• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.


• Train and support team members to maintain consistent service standards.


• Manage spa products, equipment, and inventory.


• Promote spa treatments, packages, and retail products to guests.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and shipboard procedures.


• Prepare reports and communicate departmental performance to management.

• Demonstrated cruise ship spa experience is mandatory.


• Previous experience in a Spa Manager or senior spa management role.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.


• Excellent guest service and sales abilities.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced, multicultural environment.


• Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.


• Ability to work long hours and adapt to life and work at sea.

• Valid Passport


• Schengen Visa *(for non\-EU residents)*


• Brazil Visa *(required unless South African)*


• Seaman's Book


• STCW Certificates


• Valid Medical Certificate


• Vaccination Records *(including Yellow Fever)*
