About the role
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced software solutions. You will be responsible for leading projects, participating in strategic technology decision-making, and mentoring less experienced team members. Your expertise in programming and software engineering will be essential for achieving project goals and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. This role is based in Madrid, Spain.
What will you be doing?

<li>Creating high-quality software code in accordance with industry best practices and standards.</li>
<li>Managing software testing processes, identifying and resolving issues, and optimizing system performance and scalability.</li>
<li>Delivering cloud-oriented API-based components and microservices adhering to the highest engineering standards.</li>
<li>Mentoring junior team members by providing technical support, guidance, and sharing knowledge and experience to facilitate their professional growth.</li>
<li>Influencing team direction and task prioritization.</li>
<li>Tackling complex problems requiring deep analysis and evaluation of diverse factors.</li>
<li>Collaborating closely with other departments, such as production teams, and management, to ensure solution consistency and compliance.</li>
<li>Engaging in effective cooperation with team members.</li>
<li>Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Inspiring and facilitating constructive discussions around complex topics.</li>
<li>Providing timely, concise, and actionable feedback to team colleagues.</li>
<li>Promoting a knowledge-sharing mindset.</li>
<li>Participating in recruitment interviews for your team.</li>
<li>Maintaining openness to communication with both local and external partners.</li>
<li>Developing mentoring skills, fostering learning, and sharing deep engineering expertise with peers.</li>

What are we looking for?

<li>Experience in designing and developing advanced software systems.</li>
<li>Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures.</li>
<li>Continuous focus on enhancing skills in software architecture design, DevOps practices, and product development.</li>
<li>Strong orientation toward task automation to save time and effort.</li>
<li>Implementation of improvements and optimizations in daily operations.</li>
<li>Planning and managing complex multi-system deployments without impacting client operations.</li>
<li>Ability to balance the demands of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Programming across multiple languages.</li>
<li>Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.</li>
<li>Expertise in cloud infrastructure automation.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in use of design patterns</li>
<li>University or FP degree in Software Engineering</li>
<li>Proficiency in English is required for this role</li>
