Social Work Consultant

This is a temporary, full time 6\-month assignment Monday to Friday, with a scope to be extended. Hybrid working is available and weekly access to the York office is required.

This role involves:
- ensuring high quality practice, in accordance with procedures, practice guidance and the Practice Model.
- supporting the Service Manager through supervision of practitioners, particularly ASYE, those in the early stages of their career, and those who do not hold a Social Work qualification. It involves driving practice and overall outcomes, for people with social care needs and their carers.
- providing peer support to qualified social workers, ensuring a high quality practice
- assisting social workers with decision making
- a relevant Social Work qualification
- minimum of 5 years recent Social Work experience within an Adult Social Work team.
- IT skills, preferably experienced with Mosaic.
- Be eligible to work within the UK.
- Must be SWE registered
- an enhanced adults DBS on the Update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
- The ability to show creativity and show strong values and standards
