Production Operative

Rosti Group is a global plastics injection moulding company and subcontract manufacturer to some of the world’s leading manufacturers in the e\-Mobility, packaging, consumer appliances, business machines and medical sectors employing 2500 colleagues across the manufacturing sites

Main Focus and Challenges

To ensure the smooth operation of production systems within a specified area ensuring quality and delivery standards are achieved. To carry out tasks as defined by Production supervision following standard work instructions and ensuring that Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

Specific Responsibilities

· Product quality testing following defined process

· Actively participate in problem solving and improvement activities

· Follow both downtime and scrap escalation procedures

· Loading and unloading of trailers.

· Preparation and movement of customer packaging and finished product

· Labelling of finished product to customer standards using the company’s computer system and scanner guns

· Completion of production related documentation and visual management

· Maintaining the highest housekeeping standards

· Reporting of faults or deviations in process to Production supervision / Technician or maintenance team in a timely manner

Person Qualifications and Experience

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Strong communication skills

· Self\-motivated

· Ability to follow instruction

· Basic IT skills

Hours of Work

The business is in the process of moving from a 24/5 to a 24/7 shift pattern from the start of August. The successful candidates will be expected to work a 4 week shift cycle consisting of days, nights and weekends as part of this change. A reasonable amount of overtime will also be expected to be worked when required by the business. An 11% Attendance bonus will be payable when working 24/7

Pay: £14\.10 per hour
