Social Media & Meta Ads Placement Student (University Placement, Expenses Paid, Ware)
University placement for local students only, with all reasonable expenses paid. Based in or near Ware, Hertford, Hoddesdon or Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Not remote.
We are a small Hertfordshire startup and enquiries are climbing. Our ads are starting to work and we need a local student to take hold of them and run with them.
AirCarers Companion arranges warm, trusted companionship visits for older people, from vetted, self\-employed companions, across Ware, Hertford, Hoddesdon and Broxbourne. Every booking is real, every family matters, and every idea you bring can change how many people we reach this month.

This is a university placement for students, and we reimburse your reasonable out\-of\-pocket expenses, including travel to and from filming days and any costs you incur on our behalf. It is designed to fit around your studies or a part\-time job, so it will not take over your week. It is not a good fit if you are in full\-time work, and we cannot progress applications from anyone currently working full time. We are only considering people who already live in or near our area. We cannot offer visa sponsorship, and you must already have the right to study and work in the UK.
About the role
This is not a watch\-and\-learn placement. You will take on our Meta presence (Facebook and Instagram) from week one. Your ideas go live, your ads run, and you see in real numbers whether they worked. Because you are local, you will regularly be out in Hertfordshire with the team, filming a companion's story or a family's moment and turning it into content.
What you will do
Work on our Meta Ads account, from budgets and targeting to testing new creative
Come up with ad concepts nobody has tried and get them in front of real families within days
Film and capture content in Hertfordshire, real stories and real moments
Track your results, learn what works and improve quickly, with direct access to our founder
What we are looking for
Already living in, or within easy regular reach of, Ware, Hertford, Hoddesdon or Broxbourne. Please only apply if you are genuinely local.
Currently enrolled at a UK university, with this placement forming a required or credit\-bearing part of your course
Not in full\-time work. This is a firm requirement.
Curious about paid social and Meta Ads. Experience is good, appetite to learn is just as good.
Someone who wants to be trusted with real work and will get on with it
Nice to have
Canva, CapCut or short\-form video skills
An interest in health, social care or community work
