Seen Services delivers Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Security and Communications Installations for commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure clients. We are growing fast, with a clear plan and secured pipeline up to the end of 2028\.

That growth runs through our Project Managers. This role leads our larger electrical packages and sets the standard for how we deliver.

The role

You will take full ownership of Commercial and Industrial Electrical projects from handover to final account. You will deliver them safely, on programme and on margin, and keep clients coming back.

You will run several projects at once, typically valued between £250k and £3M, and mentor the Project Managers and Engineers working alongside you.

Key responsibilities

Delivery

  • Lead projects from contract award through installation, testing, commissioning and handover

  • Build and own the programme, coordinating with Main Contractors, M\&E Consultants and other Trades

  • Plan labour, subcontractors, plant and materials so sites are never waiting

  • Chair progress meetings and report clearly to clients and the Seen Leadership Team
Commercial
  • Own the budget and margin on every project, with monthly cost to complete reporting

  • Manage variations, early warnings and applications for payment under JCT and NEC contracts

  • Work with estimating on handovers so the job is delivered as it was priced

  • Agree final accounts on time and protect cash flow
Health, safety and quality
  • Produce and approve RAMS, and lead on CDM duties for your projects

  • Ensure all work meets BS 7671 and client specifications

  • Run site inspections and audits, and close out any issues fast

  • Deliver complete O\&M manuals, test certificates and handover packs
People and clients
  • Manage Site Supervisors, Electricians and Subcontractors across multiple sites

  • Coach and develop Junior Project Managers and Engineers

  • Be the trusted contact for clients, turning good delivery into repeat work
Essential
  • At least 5 years managing electrical projects in the Commercial and Industrial sectors (Warehouses, Factories, Offices, Data or Logistics Facilities). Domestic only experience will not be considered

  • Able to run several projects at once

  • Time served electrician background with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and a current 18th Edition (BS 7671\) qualification

  • SMSTS and a full ECS or JIB card

  • Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, valuations and variations

  • Strong grasp of CDM 2015, RAMS and site safety management

  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable
  • HNC or degree in electrical engineering

  • Inspection and testing qualification (City \& Guilds 2391\)

  • Experience on fire, security or communications packages

  • Work on live or critical infrastructure sites

  • APM or PRINCE2 qualification
