Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing engaging social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube and TikTok.
- Create captivating content including posts, stories, videos, and graphics that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to foster community interaction.
- Support the planning and execution of online campaigns to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to track performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports on campaign effectiveness.
- Contribute to maintaining positive public relations by engaging with influencers, partners, and online communities.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously enhance our digital presence.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in managing social media accounts or creating digital content.
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer or similar platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of public relations principles and strategies is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay: £13\.00\-£15\.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20\.0 – 25\.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edinburgh EH2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
