Social Media & Marketing Assistant
Forest Hills Hotel \& Country Club is a 56\-bedroom hotel set in the Cheshire countryside, with a leisure club, restaurant, and a busy calendar of weddings and events. We're looking for a creative, organised social media person to help us tell our story and grow our online presence.
The role
You'll take ownership of our day\-to\-day social media and support wider marketing activity across the hotel, leisure club, restaurant, and weddings and events.
Your work will include:
- Planning and scheduling posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other channels
- Shooting and editing photos and short video content on site
- Writing engaging captions and copy that match our brand
- Promoting offers, events, and seasonal campaigns
- Responding to comments and messages, and keeping an eye on reviews
- Tracking what's working and reporting on engagement and reach
- Previous marketing or social media experience (essential)
- A good eye for content and confidence creating photos and video on your phone or camera
- Strong written English and an understanding of brand tone
- Self\-motivated and able to manage your own workload
- Comfortable working across different parts of a busy hospitality business
This is a part\-time role of 10–20 hours per week, paid at National Minimum/Living Wage (dependent on age).
We can also offer additional hours in other departments (such as reception, food and beverage, or leisure) for the right person looking to build up to full\-time hours of around 40 per week.
