Social Media and Marketing Manager
Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced, creative, and strategic Social Media \& Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and present our digital presence across two exciting, family\-focused venues. This is a hands\-on role where you’ll bring energy, ideas, and personality to our brand while helping drive engagement and growth. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about digital marketing, public relations, and brand promotion. The successful candidate will support our marketing efforts by managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and assisting with public relations activities to enhance our organisation’s visibility and reputation. The successful candidate will also monitor and report to management about our marketing performance and collaborate with management to execute strategies.
Responsibilities
- Successfully launch a campaign for the opening of our new venue (Imagine That! Wigan)
- Manage and grow our social media channels for both venues: Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for both locations (Imagine That! Liverpool and Imagine That! Wigan)
- Lead on content creation, including filming and capturing content on\-site
- Travel between our Liverpool and Wigan venues to film and gather content
- Develop a vibrant, consistent, and appealing social media presence
- Design and send e\-flyers to our customer database
- Respond to customer emails and messages on social media in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with booking enquiries and customer queries
- Collaborate with site managers to develop marketing strategies aligned with business goals
- Monitor performance, track engagement, and refine campaigns accordingly
- Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices
- Proven experience in social media management and marketing
- A strong portfolio or examples of previous work (links welcome with application)
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content
- Strategic thinking and understanding of audience engagement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be able to travel between Liverpool and Wigan venues
- A personable, proactive attitude with plenty of initiative
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Working Pattern
5 days per week. This role requires a commitment to working at least one weekend per month, in line with the needs of the business.
