Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lift Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on lift systems in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on various types of lifts, including hydraulic, traction, and specialised systems.
- Install new lift equipment and components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety protocols.
- Test lift functionality after repairs or installation to verify operational safety and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports for all maintenance activities performed.
- Liaise with clients to schedule maintenance visits and provide technical advice on lift operation and safety procedures.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines during all tasks to minimise risks associated with lift servicing.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements related to lift engineering.
- Proven experience as a Lift Service Engineer or in a similar role within the lift industry.
- Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or EOR202N.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems utilised in lifts.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple service schedules effectively.
- Valid driver’s licence is preferred for travel between sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment.
