David Walsh Civil Engineering Ltd is a family\-owned business, providing a wide range of high\-quality civil engineering, utility infrastructure and residential construction services and solutions throughout Ireland.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Site Engineer / Project Engineer to support the delivery of civil engineering and residential construction projects across the Leinster / South East region.

This is a full\-time role ideally suited to a technically strong engineer with good on\-site experience who is looking to progress toward broader project delivery responsibility.

Minimum Requirements:

· Hold a Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related qualification, or possess equivalent relevant experience.

· 1–4 years’ experience in a site\-based engineering or construction role (placements or internships considered).

· Strong technical ability with good problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Experience with site surveying, testing procedures or setting out an advantage.

· Familiarity with equipment such as GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment desirable.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience desirable.

· Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Main Responsibilities:

· Support the site management and engineering teams in the delivery of civil engineering and residential construction projects.

· Assist with surveying, checking of works and general quality control as construction progresses.

· Carry out and record site quality assurance checks including materials testing such as sieve analysis, CBR testing, concrete cube sampling and associated records.

· Assist with site measurements, as\-built surveys and preparation of drawings.

· Maintain accurate project records including documentation, reports and photographic evidence.

· Assist with progress reporting, programme tracking and valuations where required.

· Proactively assist in resolving technical challenges as they arise.
