SIA Door Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and excellent customer service. This role requires a confident presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents. Prior experience in security or surveillance is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorised access and maintain crowd control.


• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats.


• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and unauthorised activities on site.


• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or disturbances, ensuring safety for all individuals present.


• Carry out routine patrols of the premises to identify hazards or suspicious activity.


• Assist with first aid emergencies when necessary, providing initial support until professional help arrives.


• Enforce venue policies and procedures in accordance with licensing laws and company guidelines.


• Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation of any security\-related events.

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.


• Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable.


• Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.


• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.


• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.


• First aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary.
